Shake Things Up

So I've posted in length about my writing trouble. I wouldn't call it writer's block, more like...writer's constipation? I did manage to write something very quickly, which was different than anything I'd written before. That difference helped me focus and get it done very quickly.

Sometimes you have to shake things up to shake things loose in the writing department.

Now I'm shaking things up even more in my life.

We decided to start looking for a new (to us) house in the spring. Only it didn't work out that way. We went to a couple of open houses to see what houses were out there and wound up falling in love.

We close tomorrow.

It's a scary prospect. It's shaken up my whole life. But before we didn't really choose a house. This one, we all did. I'll have an office. I will admit, I have problems ignoring clutter from the kids in the room I share with them now. I don't know if that will help but it will at least take away that excuse.

I'll let you know how the shakeup goes.
