Sex and TV

No, not sex and television, though that’s a fine topic for another time. (James Spader and William Petersen, drool…) I mean, sex and transvestitism—heterosexual transvestitism.

I know a firmly hetero man who just adores the feel of women’s clothing on his body, who loves all the frilly, satiny, silky stuff, loves wearing dresses and heels, and, of course, who finds the experience intensely arousing. He also strongly prefers to see women in dresses and heels, as opposed to pants.

I’ll admit, as a die-hard pants-wearer who’s allergic to heels unless kink is involved, I don’t understand the dress thing. But the silky, fancy underwear, that I do understand. I also understand the sexual thrill of cross-dressing. Way, way, way back, I had a lover who enjoyed dressing as a woman. As we were roughly the same size, he put on my clothing, and I experimented, too, donning his power suits and ties, tucking my long hair under a fedora. We never left the apartment, but, man, was it fun!

So, here’s this: I want to know if women want to read stories that feature heterosexual men who enjoy dressing up, especially as part of a dom/sub scene. The man mentioned in the second paragraph enjoys both sides of the equation. He and I have discussed the issue, and he claims there’s a market for such stories.

I think there’s many a hot story that could be spun with a he-man hero who adores sexy, frilly things both on his woman and on himself, but I’m not sure others feel the same way. Ladies (and gentlemen, if any are reading this blog), do tell me whether you’d find such a story interesting, either in the context of BDSM, or as just an add-on to some hot “vanilla” sex.

What say you?

IF it's written well, it would be interesting to me. I'm usually curious about things I don't know, and transvestitism is something I don't know.

Honestly, I'm not sure. I'm a sucker for books that are different from the usual crop, but it would really come down to the story. I can enjoy pretty much whatever kink, as long as I like the characters involved.
