Sex play with dolls in Second Life

Did you ever play with paper dolls when you were a child? I did. I used to painstakingly cut out the little clothing items, shoes, hats and purses and trying them on my dolls. I’d spend hours playing with them and walking them through their fictional lives. Of course, my brothers wouldn’t play with the paper dolls ’cause that was sissy, girly stuff. They didn’t want their friends to laugh at them for playing with girl toys.

Now, we have Second Life, where men and women all over the world sign up to get personal avatars and play online dress up games with their dolls. Second Life runs on Windows 2000/XP or Mac OSX machines, and requires a broadband internet connection. All of a sudden, it’s cool for men to play with dolls. Go figure.

Within the virtual reality world of Second Life, men and women act out fictional lives with their avatar dolls and do what people in the real world do. They work, hang out with friends, shop, go to the movies, attend concerts, or dance at clubs and have sex. Yes, they have sex in every way possible and imaginable, including being ravished by a tentacled monster.

Whatever fantasy you might have, you can act out this fantasy in Second Life. If you want furry sex, there are furry dances and clubs where you can meet and have sex with the beast of your dreams. If you want BDSM, go to the Dom/sub sites and party hearty. BUT, before you go to these places you need to get the appropriate body and accessories first.

To create an account, you can either go to the Second Life homepage and click on the Join Now button, or you can go to the Showtime L-Word Second Life page and click on the Join for Free button.

Stay at the Orientation Island long enough to master the basics of walking and interacting with the world by right-clicking on things and selecting options from the pie chart. You’ll also want to get some practice dressing and undressing, editing your appearance, and adjusting your camera. After all, what good is having hot, sweaty sex with your dream-lover avatar if your camera’s staring at the ceiling the whole time?

Once you’re confident of your skills, teleport to the mainland, and find a new skin, hair, clothes, and the add-ons needed for sex. Open the Search box, and in Places, search for "Tete a Pied". Highlight the listing for Tete a Pied Skins in Nouveau, and click on Teleport. You’ll be teleported to their store.

Tete a Pied offers a free skin to new residents under 30 days old. And it’s a nice one, photorealistic, with full detailing. After you buy the skin (you have to buy it, and pay $0L), you can use one of their dressing rooms to edit your appearance. You can change your avatar to a younger, thinner you, with longer legs and the specific body-type, skin color, face and hair you always wanted.

Nothing identifies a newbie like bad hair. You have to have flexible hair that swings back and forth during vigorous sex. In the Search box, under Places, type in "Gurlywood." Highlight the entry for Gurl6, and click Teleport. There are a lot of textures here, so it’ll take a while to fully resolve. Head up the ramp into the pink building for women’s hair. To the left of the entryway is a sign on the wall offering a free hair voucher to new residents.

Now you need some clothes. There’s plenty of free clothing scattered throughout Second Life. Just do a search for free stuff and you can teleport to the different stores and go shopping.

You have a skin, hair and clothes. Now you need the extensions to have sex, and you’ll be ready to party like a champ. There are a number of competing sex enablers in Second Life. The most popular is the Xcite! system. Search for the Xcite! main store, and teleport over.

Prepare to be overwhelmed by the sexual diversity of Second Life. Here, you can buy genitals equipped with orgasm animations. You can enhance and add body parts such as ear tips for elves or fangs for vampires and add voice files for your avatar to talk dirty during sex. Last, but not least, you can buy sex toys and/or collars, cuffs, and other devices for BDSM play.

Head for the Human Body Parts section. For anatomically correct sex, you can buy clits that replace your skin’s detailing, adding piercings and other enhancements. A better buy is the Female Starter Pack, for $1,000L or $4 of your money. In addition to the Clit Classic, the starter pack contains attachments for your nipples and ass, so your lover can touch and caress you and your avatar will respond appropriately.

You may want to pick up extra enhancements, based on your fantasy. If you want to be a vampire, get the fangs. If you want to be bitten by a vampire, get the neck. If you want to be a totally owned slave, get the enhancement that allows you to be grabbed by the hair or the prim clothing one that allows your master to strip your clothes off in a variety of ways. If you want to be taken to a dungeon and beaten, get the whip-marks add-on.

There are dressing rooms in the Xcite! store where you can try on your new purchases. Read the note cards included with your purchases. They explain how to activate your new body parts. You can feel your body up by right-clicking on the body part attachments and selecting Touch, then select from the choices of how to touch yourself. This lets you practice the skill you’ll need for touching your fantasy lover, and learn how to use the Xcite interface.

Or, you can use your new touching skills to masturbate. LOL.

Now you’re ready for a hot time, but where can you find a lover willing to play out your fantasy scenario with you? If your fantasy is of sex with a stranger, visit any of the clubs in the most popular places list, like The Edge, while wearing your Xcite body parts. Some guy will reach out to touch you fairly soon after you arrive, and you can take it from there. Or, you can visit Neva Naughty’s sex orgy room—if you can get in. It’s usually pretty crowded. Another alternative is to simply wander around the sim (a large region of contiguous land) of Amsterdam, an entire city devoted to sex.

Other scenarios require role-playing. Some will require costumes, such as Gorean silks, saloon-girl dresses, or Victorian gowns, although free versions are available near where you teleport into a costumed role-play environment.

If you want a dominant man, visit Bondage Ranch or Bondage Playground. Plenty of people will be milling around, eager to help new arrivals. If you’d rather not watch people using the toys scattered around the ranch and playground, and prefer a less in-your-face scenario, visit The Black Rose Island Inn or The Forum, both of which are BDSM social gathering places. If you’re totally at a loss, and want someone to tell you exactly what to do, visit the BDSM School for Submissives or the Slaves and Submissives Training Center.

For capture/kidnapping fantasies, visit the Capture Roleplay HQ, or any of the Gorean cities, such as Port Cos, Rive-de-Bois, or Tarnburg.

The Gorean cities are based on John Norman’s Gor novel series. They have a role-play environment with strict codes of behavior. Virtually every Gorean male wants a slave woman to wear his collar, and forced collaring communities allow males to claim any uncollared woman who leaves the safety of the marketplace. I list them under capture/kidnapping rather than under dominants, because very few of them are skilled dominants, preferring brute force methods.

If your deepest desire is to mingle with vampires or werewolves, visit Midian City, and take the role of a hunter or prey, as you prefer. Be sure to read the note cards in the arrival taxi station, they explain the various groups. Or, you can visit Transylvania. Transylvanian vampires are more insular, and not as welcoming. Their role-play is based on the structures detailed in the game Vampire: The Masquerade.

For fantasies involving brawny Highland lairds and lads, visit the sim of Scotland. Regency rakes inhabit the sims of Caledon. If you’d like to play saucy saloon girl to a gunfighter, visit the sim of Sigil.

If it seems like too much effort to try and track down a willing man to match your fantasy, there’s always the escort option. Musk or PurpleRoze offer male escorts who can help you enjoy your sexual fantasy. Unlike the other men of Second Life, these men are paid for sex. You can spend between a few hundred Lindens and a few thousand, depending on the escort’s skill and popularity.

Of course, there’s GLBT sex in Second Life too. For example: you can teleport to Bisexual Paradise: Disneyland for the openminded. This is a clothing optional environment with gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered and intersexed sexuality that includes all combinations of group orgies, threesomes, foursomes, shemales and massages.
