Reading Slump

Yes, I'm in one. *sigh* I hate it when nothing on my to be read shelf appeals and I find myself in a reading slump. I can't figure out what I'd like to read.

Two of the last books I picked up, I didn't finish. One was a nonfiction book I'd gotten enough from. The other was a fiction book that I just couldn't get into. Neither of those experiences helps me.

Oddly enough the last few books I have read and enjoyed have been Young Adult books. Hate List by Jennifer Brown was an emotional wonderfully painful read. The Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins, totally engrossing.

But even wandering through that section hasn't helped me find another book that calls to me.

I'm looking for a book I can sink my teeth into. I'm sure I'll find one soon but for now, I'll reread some things.

How do you break free from a reading slump?

I reread ones I know I liked first time around!I usually have at least ten books by the bed that I haven't read. last night there were two - so I bought four more today and one is HUGE 1237 pages.
