Yes, it's true. I've taken a step away from the Tygers world for just a bit to produce something different. Amethyst Eyes is a polyamorous paranormal menage that I just loved writing. It centers around Ansling Carr, who has experienced visions her whole life. She's learned to fight them, though. Until those visions contain Tobias Sinclair and Kellen Rainey, two very sexy men who make it clear they want, and need her.

For the first time in her life, Ansling lets her gifts develop so they can be used in the fight against evil. And, she learns that she can be loved for who she truly is. Developing a magical world was fun, and challenging. I had a great time, and I think that it shows. Ansling is a strong character, who has learned to live life on her own, shutting herself off from the world by taking a job in paradise as a dive master. When she meets Tobias and Kellen, though, things change, and begin to smolder. At times, I thought my fingers would burn from the heat between these three characters.

The idea for Amethyst Eyes, and the series titled The Pentagram Stones, came to me while I was in Houston for the 2007 Romantic Times convention. It was one of those things that just popped into my head, and wouldn't let go. I was thrilled when Loose Id offered a contract for it, and have loved the story and the way it developed.

For those of you who are worried about the next Tygers book, take heart. Just a few weeks ago I signed the contract for Tygers 5: Sweet Redemption. Yes, it's Helena and TK's story, and it is scorching.
