What are your Guilty Pleasures?

I must admit that one of mine is teen dramas, like the O.C. and now Gossip Girl. I don't know what it is about them that attracts me, but they make me very happy. Maybe it's reliving my youth, though my youth was never that exciting. I even like Kyle XY, which is a very different tone from O.C. and Gossip Girl. One year my friend got me the O.C. game. Of course I have no one to play it with, because I'm the only one I know who watched it. I was so sad to see it end. But now I have Serena and Dan.

Maybe it's the constant romance.

Another guilty pleasure is staring at the Winchester boys on Supernatural. Who cares if they're a few years younger than me? Also on Thursday nights, Smallville--that teen drama thing again. But then I get my adult fix by watching the doctors on Grey's Anatomy act like children.

(As I'm typing this mondo mosquito is hanging above my head. I can't tell if he's dead or maimed, but I'm worried he's about to fall on me!)

Then there's Tivo or a DVR--a definite guilty pleasure. I can timeshift everything and avoid commercials. It records two shows at once. Love it!

I'm soon going to experience another guilty pleasure--I've been invited to one of those parties--you know, a sex toy party. Can you believe it? Can you believe I write erotic romance and haven't been to one yet? I'm worried I'll be too afraid to buy anything in front of witnesses.

Last night I indulged a guilty pleasure and paid for it this morning. Way too much tequila! I was at an outdoor concert, though--quite fun.

Tell me about your guilty pleasures--I'd love to chat!

My guilty pleasure is iced coffee. I love it. I know it's highly caloric and has monga caffeine levels but ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

LOL another guilty pleasure would be Mike Rowe's voice. He could read the phone book. I don't care...

Hey Mechele! I don't do iced, but I love the tall mochas at B&N. That's another guilty pleasure of course--hanging out at the bookstore :-)

Mine are Reality talent shows! I love Top Chef, Project Runway, Hell's Kitchen, So You think You can Dance and other shows that display contestant's creativity. Of course I watch American Idol and ths season enjoyed it the most because the caliber of contestants was very high.
I also like to bet with the dh on who will be voted off and why on all these shows! ;~D
This year I predicted that a male would win American Idol because:
They haven't had a viable male winner yet. Unfotunately both Ruben Stoddard and Taylor Hicks were flash in the pans. The male contestants who've done well were runners-up.
I also predicted that one of the two finalists would be of Hispanic heritage because there haven't been any identifiable Latino finalists in the past seasons although there have been contestants. David Archuelta is from Honduras and is favored to win.
Okay, now you know: I'm obsessed!

My guilty pleasure is Mike Rowe of 'Dirty Jobs.' It doesn't matter what job he is doing, I have to watch him or listen to him, as he is the narrator for my other guilty pleasure "Deadliest Catch."

My hubby and son love the Dirty Jobs, Mya! Me, I shy away from that show as much as possible ;-)

Jeanne, I want David Cook to win! And I love Top Chef & Project Runway, too.

Okay, my guilty pleasure is watching those real law enforcement shows, like Cops.

As for me mocha frappacino's are my fav - and I discovered the International Coffee, iced coffees - only 150 cal. with low fat milk!! I've switched and feel less guilty.
